Lord of the Rings Characters

Among the many characters that we meet in the Lord of the Rings, we can see a number of interesting and memorable ones. These characters include Elrond, Eowyn, Galadriel, Aragorn, Saruman, and Gollum.

Galadriel

Among the Elves of Middle-earth, Galadriel is one of the wisest and most beautiful. A daughter of Earwen, she was the sister of Feanor, the King of the Noldor, and Prince of the High Elves. She married Celeborn, who was the Lord of Lothlorien. However, after the fall of Eregion, they were not seen again.

Elrond was a loremaster and a healer. He was also a politician. He was a descendant of all three of the Elves tribes. He married Galadriel’s daughter, Celebrian. They had two sons, Elladan and Elrohir. Their daughter, Arwen, was captured by Orcs and later sent to the Undying Lands. They later returned to Rivendell.

Elrond is known as a loremaster and a friend of the descendants of Numenor. He helped select the Fellowship to join the quest to destroy the One Ring. He also has some involvement in the original storyline of the game. In The Two Towers, Elrond’s involvement with human affairs becomes more complex.

In the book The Lord of the Rings, Saruman becomes corrupted out of arrogance and ambition. His power is limited by his unbodied spirit. He becomes a figure of evil. He seeks to take over Middle-earth by force.

Eowyn
